UQ Materials Performance is a professional consultancy and short term research business based at the University of Queensland, St.Lucia, Brisbane. Our expertise centres on materials and metallurgical engineering, failure analysis, durability and degradation of metals & polymers.
We maintain close relationships with key research centres within the University, notably the Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (CMM) and the Centre for Advanced Materials Processing and Manufacturing (AMPAM). This gives us access to a broad range of expertise and equipment throughout the University.
UQMP is based within the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering (SoMME) which falls under the Engineering Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) faculty. We frequently work with other schools within our faculty on projects requiring experts from multiple disciplines of engineering.
